About Me

Hello - I'm Suzanne!

In 2015 I began creating hand-dyed yarns as a way to express and share my love of colour, and hopefully inspiring others to find excitement and joy through craft and creativity.

I've harboured a passion for knitting, crocheting and fibrecraft for as long as I can remember - I'm a lifelong knitter and have also worked as a professional fibrecraft tutor and proponent of the well-being and mental health benefits of knitting and crafting.

I live with my family in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, close to the heart of the world-famous Peak District National Park, an endless source of inspiration for new yarn designs. I also take inspiration from folklore, world festivals, cultural events and more. In particular, I really love Christmas and Halloween!

In 2023 I 'gave up the day job' to focus on yarn dyeing full-time. I feel really blessed to be able to do something I love for a living but even more blessed to have such a lovely collection of customers from around the world. Being able to express my imagination through yarn and colour and know that I'm bringing a little bit of happiness into so many people's lives gives me so much joy and I hope I never stop doing it!

I really hope you enjoy looking around the site!
